3.the term vetinarian comes from the latin word vetirinea meaning"working animal". 

Teacher facts:

1.most of teachers are women infact its creeping towards 77%

2.teachers work more then you realize,while you think teachers only have like 10 hours a week an average teacher gets around 50 hours a week.

3.when there not teaching they are actually taking classes themselves,nearly 60% of  teachers have post graduate degree - in order to advance their careers additional education is usally required.

Civil engineers facts :

1.civil engineers design this like roads,dams,bridges and etc.

2.civil engineers manage the people actually making the stuff like bridges

3.they usually work in buisness centres.

nurse facts:

1. on an average shift nurses walk about 4-5 k.thats a lot of walking 

2.the first known nursing school was established in India in 250 BC at that time only males could attend.

3.2020 is the year of midwifes and nurses.

Dentist facts:

1.dentil implants are better today.

2.80% of dentists are just general dentists

Tidal Energy

 

Hi this week we were doing our inquiry based on energy and we had to choose 1 type of energy and i chose tidal energy.At first I made a poster but Ms Farr said I had to do btb (better then before) so I decided to make a podcast. I forgot to add this in the podcast so I'll just add it now:so Tidal Energy is waaaaaaaay better then fossil fuels because A.Its more renewable and B.Its in the ocean so like its more unique (seeming as though fossil fuels are just decomposted plants so boo).Anyway hope you enjoy this.

Octopus writing

 Have you ever wondered about the wonders of an Octopus?About what happens when they cahnge colour?Or even how many legs they have? Well today I am going to give you a bit of info about these magnefisent creatures so lets zoom in!  

The octopuses diet normally depend on the breed but most octopus eat fish, clams, snails,and crabs.An octopus can change its apperance judging the colour around them, that transformation is called camoflage. An octopus has 8 tenticales and each tenticale has a brain so one teticale can draw while the others can bake or walk or conduct an ochresta.Octopus are found all around the world but they mostly prefer warmer climits like nearer the equator they hide in small holes in reefs.

Hi today we had to do a quiz about world news.In that quiz there was a qeustion about the NZ Great walks.So knowing Ms Farr she wanted us to do some research all about the 10 Great Walks.I felt really rushed because she gave us a certain amount of time to do this.Anyway hope you enjoy!

Humpback Whales

kia ora,g'day,howdy how are you going today?Today Ms Farr asked us to make a DLO (digital learning object) on humpback whales, she gave us 3 questions to answer ( where they live,what they eat and body parts). I really enjoyed doing this even though I felt a bit rushed when she gave us 45 minutes to do it.
